For nearly 15 years, I have worked with adults experiencing anxiety and stress in the context of trauma, medical illness, and life transitions. I completed my clinical training through the Yale School of Medicine, Brown Medical School, Institute of Living, and multiple Veterans Affairs medical centers. I have cared for patients in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings including mental health clinics, primary care, psychiatric hospitals, and specialty clinics (oncology, organ transplant, sleep medicine, palliative care).
I earned a BA in psychology from the University of Southern California, MA in psychology from Columbia University, and MS and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Connecticut. Subsequently, I completed a residency in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine followed by a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship specializing in stress, trauma, and resilience in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
