After you request a consultation, I will get in touch to schedule a complimentary 15-minute telephone call. If we are a good fit, we will schedule an initial intake session. The intake session and subsequent therapy sessions are 50 minutes and held via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
During our first few sessions, I will provide feedback about diagnostic impressions and personalized treatment recommendations, including the therapy approach best suited to your needs and an estimated course of care. Together, we will define clear goals for therapy. To facilitate this process, weekly sessions are recommended at the outset of therapy. As therapy progresses, session frequency will be reassessed on an ongoing basis.
I incorporate measurement-based care, an evidence-based approach that uses brief questionnaires to regularly track your symptoms and functioning. This approach allows us to monitor your progress together, providing accountability and transparency about your mental health treatment.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many patients with out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. To support this process, I can provide superbills, which are detailed receipts you submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement. Since out-of-network benefits can differ widely, I encourage you to contact your insurance company before getting started to ask about your benefits for psychotherapy. It can be helpful to ask whether your plan includes out-of-network coverage, which medical billing codes (called CPT codes) are covered, and what reimbursement amount or percentage you can expect per session.
Initial intake session (CPT code 90791): $225
Individual session (CPT code 90834): $225
